Levels: Beginners, Intermediate, Advanced, Pointe work & Private tuition
Always had a desire to dance but never had the opportunity - this class is designed just for you. The class starts at the barre where a number of exercises are taught to help improve posture, increase muscle tone, strength and flexibility.
Pointe work requires strength in the feet and ankles. Students typically progress slowly at first, but you will be able to work at your own pace until you feel happy and confident enough to try new steps.

Tap is a fantastic way to improve your rhythm and get fit in a social environment. Karen fuses together many styles including rhythm tap, Broadway tap and hoofing, setting them to an exciting variety of music styles from big band and swing to the latest charts.
A great opportunity for people with experience in tap looking to keep their skills up to date, or for people who've been to our beginner classes and are looking to take their dancing to the next level. The class builds on basic techniques learnt in the beginner class to develop harder and longer combinations. The pace of the class is also increased to keep experienced dancers challenged.

There are several different styles of jazz in the dance world from funky jazz to Broadway, street jazz to lyrical jazz. Karen will keep you right up to date by combining the various styles with chart hits to inspire a new routine each week.
Each jazz class starts with a warm-up to get the heart pumping. This is followed by around thirty-five minutes of simple but challenging exercises focusing on each muscle group in the body. If your aim is to improve muscle tone, core strength, posture and suppleness, this class with provide you with that overall fitness.
Levels: Beginners, Improvers & Advanced
During the improvers and advanced class you will build on skills learnt in the beginners class and learn how to use momentum to dance at a greater speed and with an increased range of movement. Like the beginners class, this class includes a warm-up, technical exercises, a new routine each week and a cool down. The pace is slightly increased to keep the class challenging for everyone.
