The school strives to attract, through
its annual series of auditions and interviews, an intake
of students of outstanding talent or potential, with
the appropriate physical and mental aptitudes to undergo
rigorous full-time training, who will go on to achieve
satisfying professional careers in dance.
The full-time teaching staff are all
highly qualified dance teachers and musicians, assisted
by regular visiting teachers in some specialist forms
of dance and active professional dancers who combine
teaching with theatrical performing, ensuring a continuous
'live theatre' link, which is further enhanced by regular
public theatrical performances by the students themselves.
Graduates of the Northern Ballet School
have gone on to dance professionally for the following

The schools Jazz Theatre Dance graduates
regularly take up cabaret, commercial and cruise-line
theatre, film and television work and have been cast
in many West End and international musical theatre productions

Lady, Oklahoma, Oliver, Peter Pan, Phantom of the Opera,
